Otherwise known as Senecio Peregrinus, the String of Dolphins or Dolphin plant, is a rare animal-like variety that develops beautiful curvy leaves that resemble a pod of little jumping Dolphins. It is a cross-pollination of Senecio rowleyanus (String of Pearls) and Senecio articulatus (hot dog cactus), which can grow up to 15 cm (6 inches) tall.
This plant is one of the "string" succulents, which grow trailing stems that can reach 1.0' to 3.0' long. Like other succulent varieties, the String of Dolphins plant is drought-tolerant and will thrive if given bright light and occasional watering.
